Joined Google Research full-time in December 2022. Major contributor to the Gemini Large-Scale Pretraining team, January 2025–present, with work spanning pretraining, model sparsity, transformer reasoning, and large-scale optimization.
Associate Professor, Georgia Tech
Joined the College of Computing in 2017 and was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2020. I have held a 20% appointment since December 2022 and continue to advise PhD students and postdocs, teach, and collaborate with the Georgia Tech community.
BlueConduit, Co-founder and Board Member
Co-founded with Eric Schwartz to develop data and software tools for lead-service-line inventory and replacement. The company grew out of our work identifying lead pipes during Flint’s water crisis.
